Really appreciated this first feature film from director Francoise Ellong. The emotions are so heartfelt, acting performances so straight forward and there's something about the way that the actors deliver the lines that convey the smooth flow of dialogue.  Cinematography and the way shots are edited are so well-placed. The mother and son bond was also well-established. Above all, this is a story about a woman who has to go through so much just to ensure that she protects her son from the ugly realities of the world.  Matilda is indeed one admirable woman and Patricia Bakalack well-portrayed the character. Highly recommended!
