Intriguing, compelling and engaging to watch! This film from South Africa amazes me because it just goes to show that there is so much talent from this country in terms of film making and acting.  The story revolves around a lesbian couple but also between their adoptive daughter Asanda and Shando, the tommy boy she befriended.  The lectures of a professor which can be seen a few times throughout the film  was informative and educational and aims to shed light on lesbianism and issues surrounding it. The acting performances are superb and all the lead characters did their part to develop their character and in how they interacted with the rest of the cast.  An impressive film from director Catherine Stewart!
