The documentary is very educational. And it is true, once an art is diluted by commercialism it loses some of its value. Martial arts isn’t for the purpose of fighting whether in the offensive or defensive perspective but a way of thinking and living. And Master Choi explains this very well. I am quite moved by what he said; “we try to eliminate the things that are not working for us in life or death situations”. I think this is applicable in all situations in life.
