I really enjoyed this film. The silence between the two main characters in the first half  emphasises the awkwardness in their minimal interactions which develop as each interaction becomes more significant or sentimental. Through dialogue, they each reveal the complex dimensions in each other's character. The rain throughout the film seems to work as pathetic fallacy which foreshadows the sombre tone in the story line, the same way that the girl's humming becomes her motif which continues through to the end, creating a particularly haunting effect at the end following the revelation of the twist in the plot. This short film is intense and slowly paced with an unexpected thrilling ending.
