To be born in the wrong body is hard enough but to be raised in a religion which does not accept you is just shitty. Religion is supposed to unite people and not divide them or judge them but nowadays, that's what has been happening. It's rare to find a place or a community that celebrates identity. There always have to be rules and people claiming they know what's wrong and what's right. So I applaud this documentary for its boldness in showing the reality that members of the LGBT who belong in an organized religion face in life.
