The film instantly holds tension in the passionate moment between the two lovers, which is quickly and humorously broken down step by goofy step until suddenly a future version of the main male character appears right before them, interrupting their private moment which causes the couple to scream in confusion. What follows is a series of visits of amusingly characterised future versions of him, all commenting on the fate of the couple's relationship and how it really goes down. The dialogue is a hilarious series of anecdotes from the same person at different points in his life, on the roller coaster relationship between the two, and concluded with an effective anticlimactic ending where the intended night of passion is officially abandoned. Great dialogue, well shot, great idea!
