A film that's as innocent and beautiful as the young lads it potrays.Being gay may be getting easier.  But realising you are gay, and everything that means, will never be easy.  Even when you have a loving family, accepting friends, and a supportive school, stepping to one side and declaring you are different is tough.  Even if those things only need be declared to oneself, it involves a process of self-examination and self-determination that is not quite like anything else. There's a magic in this film.  It shows how the ordinary lives of handsome young lads become transformed.Once again, all the technical stuff is excellent.  But what is superb, is how the director coaxes such a beautiful sentiment from the ordinary.  No-one I know who has seen this film has forgotten it.
