High-stakes journalism and much derring-do abound in one of Hitch's classic early 'man and woman in peril while solving the crime and falling in love' movies, with plenty of humour of course, courtesy of a random Latvian who keeps popping up and a great scene involving a declaration of love and a fainting woman. So much is crammed into this caper it's no surprise it had a whopping TEN writers (only 4 were credited), something which is usually a warning sign over a film but not here. There is so much fun going on you'll be rapt from beginning to end.
