New Wave cinema comes to Jakarta courtesy of Indonesian director Edwin, who's made quite a name for himself over there thanks to his 'Blind Pig Who Wants to Fly'. Not quite in that film's league, it was still nice to spend a dreamy hour and a half at Ragunan zoo with these intriguing characters, brought to life via the ethereal, slowly enchanting cinematography.
