What a fantastic Amélie-esque performance from Tatou as the well meaning and strong-willed Émilie who is desperate to drag her mother out of her pitiable state of post-divorce depression. Little does she know however, that her one small gesture in good faith will land her in disaster after disaster. At times you don't want to look. At times neither do they and choose instead to knock back yet another straight vodka. This film offers everything you could possibly want from a feel-good comedy, not to mention a welcome reminder that often, love is blind.
