In the great tradition of Scandinavian Noir, THE KEEPER OF LOST CAUSES respects the main standards: dark, despondent atmosphere; damaged cop with issues relating to drink, relationships, and authority... Mikkel Norgaard gathered an impressive an excellent cast who delivers a tight script written by Nikolaj Arcel. The anti-hero plot works supberbly and the case he is working on is tense gripping. Adapted from Jussi Adler-Olsen's book, THE KEEPER OF LOST CAUSES, the film, does an excellent job that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
