Widely lauded as one of Fulci's best, I can't really say the same. Yes, the visuals are stunning, the effects (while dated) still have the power to gross out (particularly a neck being chewed off by a dog no less) and the locations and performances all contribute to an air of spookiness that runs throughout. However the whisker-thin plot really does start to tire. The scene where Emily runs out into a mist-enveloped garden with her pooch in tow is one of Fulci's best.
