Shot in black and white, this film combines a narrated film format, which leads us to see the events throught Unk's eyes and a film in the film about the fall of Jerusalem. This fluctuates between being seen on a device by Unk and an immersive perspective, hinting at the fact the viewer, like Unk, is given clues to be reminded that it's all fiction, should he choose to look. Because Unk is wrapped up in the aftermath of his encounter with Boaz, he turns into a kind of Madame Bovary. This is an interesting commentary, I find, on the success of Korean-produced media and possibly a reminder to all drama fans out there that what comes out of a studio should always be viewed with a bit of perspective. I definitely recommend watching this.
