There are some great shots I've observed in this film that, though borne with some symbolic meaning is visually enthralling, like that scene where the character of the shy Lenta is seen submerged in water and though it looks as if she's learning to swim there is also an inner fancy for a person (the counselor Pascha), as if she's internally struggling to free herself of that fantasy. Other equally well-thought-of visuals is a delight to see and though viewers could only see restrained expressions of adoration, one can't help but sense that overflowing angst that adolescents are most associated with. Worth checking out!
