What I liked about this movie was the simplicity in the way the characters were portrayed but nevertheless the viewers still see them as relatable and normal people like you and me. The acting portrayals are great except for that lady character who's Ivan's officemate as I find her acting quite unnatural and awkward. The scene that stayed with me was that of Ivan as a young boy, talking to his grandma about death and the former eventually ending up hugging his grandma and crying because of the realization that his grandma won't live forever and will eventually die. If you're into gay films then this should be in your films-to-watch list.
