What stayed with me for the most part was the hypnotic strains of violin music however,  the rape scene was disturbing to watch even as it was shot in an artistic manner.  This is indeed an unusual story,  a love triangle where none of the three persons involved was quite the winner.  Somehow I noticed, even as the character of Yuuki insists that he's not a homosexual, his actuations were nonetheless a contradiction. On the other hand, Tonoin, the conductor who falls for Yuuki, seems every inch a man, although of course one can't really tell a person's orientation just by their habits and actuations.  Impressive acting portrayals by Shota Takasaki as Yuuki and Yusuki Arai as Tonoin. If  you're into LGBT flicks  you may want to check this out.
