A guilty pleasure that has so many faults, yet it's all done with a sort of naive punkish show and tell flair, that some might enjoy it, as I did. Emily Bergl puts a refreshing emo spin on the Carrie White character, whle the mundane high school settings and the nasty, basic bitches that swarm through them render the silliness quite real. The house party crescendo is wonderfully gory albeit a bit too brief. Mena Suvari makes a nice cameo to kick things off.
