The film tells  a moving tale about a pubescent transgender person and the affect they have on a memorable cast of characters.  Anything more than that would be a spoiler.  Direction is spot-on, personal and intimate.  Locale is a country farm and village in Argentina in summer, peaceful and almost idyllic. Cinematography is visual poetry.  The young actors seem skilled well beyond their years. And best of all, the film ends without a clear resolution to the basic conflict on the plot. It's up to us to examine our own attitudes about transgender persons.
