Very laudable performance by Napel who plays the role of Anne, the central character in this film.  This young teener who's initially meek and shy eventually blossomed into a young and carefree woman, thanks in part to some pivotal events and because of  one young lady from the city, Lena, whom she falls in love with. But aside from Anne's character what I found interesting was the two opposing ideas on religion/ spirituality that viewers can pluck from this film.  The people in town are seen as devout churchgoers but evidently have closed judgement when it comes to homosexuals; when there are rape scandals and other things that seem to be deviate from usual norms.  The film in its entirety is a curious study of how spirituality has varying effects on people as well as family relationships as a whole.  I'd highly recommend this!
