I give this an almost perfect rating for the brutally frank depiction of violence and heartlessness in the character of Crocodile.  But more so, for the outstanding cinematic techniques employed by Director Kim Ki-duk.  This film is surely a league of its own and for all its violent tendencies it was easily noticed by critics, blazing the trail for future great films from the acclaimed director.  The various scenes shot underwater and the way the water and ripples create arresting visuals on camera intrigued me no end, Kim Ki-duk surely knows the tricks to employ with the shots.  A story that's one of a kind,  you should include this in your must-watch list.
