This is a nice and sweet surprise of a film! Intrigued when I read that it's an anti-fairytale but upon viewing it I was all the more enchanted.  Mathews as the engaged but very trapped and lost woman is refreshing to watch,  her actuations a bit quirky at times. The film in itself is rich in details and elements and the fantasy side (talking fish head and Mathews running into the lake and dissolving into a flock of birds)  is uniquely done. I'd have to admit, this film got my attention from start to credits!
