An exhilarating look at a group of teenagers from the Paris 'banlieue' suburbs, who at first glance are pretty normal kids, but as we learn more about their aspirations, tics, playground tales, crushes and dreams, are anything but. We are propelled along by a documentary technique that has the talking heads seemingly engaging with each other off camera, as well as some highly inventive drone shots and scenarios. A much more truthful and emotive depiction than 'Divines', which got the spotlight.
