Heartbreaking and compelling! This film recalls the hardships of countless people because of the warring nations and always, it's the people caught in between such wars that suffer the most. This personal story of a Polish woman Nina, with a baby in tow, who gets deported along with others and made to do hard labor amidst the steppes, will tug at your hearstrings and transport you back during the Second World War. Commendable performances especially by Agnieszka Grachowska, a Polish actress, who received Best Actress Award from Film Festival Oostende for her portrayal of Nina. Worth checking out!
