A beautiful confection about children running free in the gorgeous Argentine countryside, 'The Last Summer Of La Boyita' has its fair share of darker moments, but then childhood was never easy, was it? The discovery of sexuality and gender, in a "I'll show you mine if you show me yours" way, is handled expertly and with a lot of tenderness. Somehow this film slipped under the radar and didn't get a UK cinema release. A pity as it deserves exposure. Was glad I discovered it.
