Tony Jaa is back with a vengeance, fiercer and savage than ever before! In this film the setting is in medieval Thailand and Jaa shows off various fighting styles that will leave viewers on the edge of their seats. The use of elephants here could signify the affinity of Jaa to this gentle but strong animal, and as can be remembered, this animal also figured prominently in his other movies. Yet, while the action scenes will excite you, the viewers' interest can ultimately wane with no clear-cut story and plot to hold on to. And I noticed that Jaa is a co-director in this film, it would be a good start but I think getting an experienced director who's a master in the action genre would be a great plus. Still, this is a highly recommended film for its extraordinary fight scenes.
