Creepy and chilling! This film makes you scream and will jolt you out of your seats! Ghost of Mae Nak  is an updated version and a retelling of an old Thai legend and will remind viewers of horror flicks like "The Grudge" and "Ring". Commendable scary shots with Director Mark Duffield utilizing his cinematography skills to the hilt and giving the film an international appeal with a modern take on gore and the scary element. Acting-wise though, the performance of the two leads Mak and Nak seems to lack in depth and in convincing people of their relationship as a couple, support cast like Noi seems to stood out more.  Generally though, this is an engaging film to watch and recommended if you want to have a good scare.
