A criminally overlooked film. Stine Fischer Christensen gives an incredible performance as a young stage performer in a premature mid-life crisis. With family pressures bearing down on her, she seeks solace first in a director that believes in her talent, then in a kind stranger from outside her sphere who she eventually falls for. All the while, her disabled sister (with a performance from Christina Drechsler that threatens to overshadow Christensen's in its power) brings her back to the family unit, her responsibilities, and the sense that her future is not as unknown to her as she first thought. A really beautiful film that I'll be watching again.
