With an above average film-score, cinematography, and prosthetic make-up, The Out Boxer distinctively reflects a person's first love gone wrong. The film makes the journey into and out of kickboxing analogous with falling in and out of love for the first time. Excellent camera shots to simulate kickboxing will make viewers feel the intensity of the punches and the scripted lines that go along with them.  Prosthetic make-up makes the fight scenes believable. While, the film-score will keep viewers' attentions glued to the screen. However, the analogy of kickboxing and a first love might keep some viewers confused of what the film is trying to convey. Despite of this, The Out Boxer still cleverly tells the realities of heartbreak through segments such as the concluding scene.
