Genuinely smitten with this animation for the comical interpretation of  how  A.T. Shank and Son go about with funeral nuances.  I'm sure the creators didn't mean to disrespect the departed but rather it tries to present a commonly sad phase in a quirky way.  The colors black and white figure predominantly  in the film and  surprisingly, viewers are only treated a burst of colors during that  scene ala musicale where they are led to what looks like hell by a parade of animals and figures with skull faces.  At this point,  we come to a conclusion that father and son are already dead, too, thanks to that huge boulder.  But duty calls and they have the responsibility to bury the old lady in a decent grave which they finally did, thank goodness.  The last scene with the 2 characters jumping onto the old lady's grave , freeze frame and  the  classic "Happy Weekend" song  heard by the viewers make for a perfect ending.  Definitely, a  must-watch!
