Is this a short film version of Karate kid? Seems like it to me, except for the time travel. And the style of photography too is very much like the 80’s. The witch is fascinating to watch though, with her small booklet of spells. The film doesn’t offer new ideas or perspective but it’s still worth watching if one likes Japanese B movies.
