The film depicts two negative qualities of men: jealousy and greed. The man's fellow beggars were not happy of the man's discovery and even as he shared to them the wonders of the box they still wanted it for themselves. The concluding scene was brilliant, with the beggar opting to go inside the box and perish with it, as if it was some kind of magical trick. Do check out this film!
