Despite a commendable message, Shelter gives away too much too soon... From the prologue of the film, viewers can already infer someone's loss. The question will now be, "Who will be lost and how he/she will be lost?" In a possibly needless lengthy bus ride, we encounter the couple in the film. Here, the touching of the male partner is too excessive that it borders on sensual caressing. The film would've benefited more from the absence of a prologue, a shorter bus ride, and more loving displays of affection than sensual touching.
