Considering the circumstances that she's in,  Andie  seems lucky enough to have her family gathered together for that tell-all session with them.  Yet somehow, after all has been said and done,  there is still that void feeling within her.  Thank goodness for a supportive father though,  even as the mom and sis don't seem to share the same convictions.  In the end , Andie still has  the "unattached feeling" making her "alone" despite the people/ family around her.  This film echoes a reality that exists  in some families with lgbt members.
