Cute. Ambitious. Exceptionally understated. Rather like being young (forgive me if I sound old), you have to dig around a little to find the point. That's not a bad thing. This is one of those films where what happens off screen is as important as that which we see. Ok, so it's not perfect. It's so tightly written that it suffers a little from being a little too sparse. The characters are really strong and, for me, really well played. I like these two, and I'd like to see more of them.
