Quite ahead of its time in dealing with the topic of gay parenting (which, although not in the literal sense, is something of a precursor and very much the same dynamic), this early short film from the director of 'The Way He Looks' is about a twenty-something gay couple going into a tense new period in their relationship, involving a sweet little boy. Gay male relationships afford quite a lot of liberty when it comes to going out, being free to choose and do as one wants - the 'scene' encourages it, and to some degree even frowns on heteronormative activity such as raising a family. This wonderful short film is the perfect antidote.
