Wonder Boy showcases the plight of second generation immigrants. Their parents still hold unto the traditions of their homeland while the second generation try to assimilate. While assimilating, the second generation can have their personal identities and alignments confused. Wonder Boy echoes this conflict and difficulty throughout the film. For achieving this, Wonder Boy scores 4.5 stars.
