Sublime looking, beautiful sounding and at times harrowing, this new offering from prolific generation X'er Greg Araki succeeds  in the effortless capture  of  the coming-of-age genre's most elusive and often ill-treated topics: that delicate tension between social ideals and exercises in sexual  freedom, cradling it with  the visual warmth  and auditory calm  of a seasoned indie captain.
