This movie is surprisingly engrossing and with a great new twist to what most locals would relate with the word and the place that is Tondo. It's considered as mecca of most crimes and  represents the  lower class of people.  But in this film, which is about a grandfather about to go bankrupt who tags two of his grandkids with him to Tondo,  where he grew up,  everything seems to be seen from a unique new light. It's the old generation and new generation coming together towards their discovery of lessons and essential life experiences  that will forever change their perspectives in life. Veteran actor Robert Arevalo is at the top of his game in this movie, he was able to carry his role well;  focused and solid performance to the hilt. Villongco and Siguion-Reyna as his grandkids did very well. This multi-awarded film at the Cinemalaya teaches great lessons on family relationships and acceptance, among others. Worth the watch!
