Narrated from a child's point of view,  the film engages the viewers through  a child's reminiscings of his grandfather who was his constant companion.  The granny's character unravels itself through the boy's narration until that fateful night when the granny calls him but he never went to the room.  While it may be too late though the boy ends the narration with the words, "I'll have to ask him later, he's resting his eyes"  will strike a sad note among viewers as it is shown clearly in the  visuals  that the granny is already in a casket and will never wake up again.  Engaging and poignant,  the animation may be simple but still it managed to evoke sadness and sympathy.
