A very odd entry in the post Scream flurry of teen slasher films, which feels more like a Hitchcockian campus-set crime thriller with a bunch of twists that aren't very effective and some pretty bloodless kills (which let's face it is what you'd expect to see), however it deserves kudos for doing something different with what was by this point a very tired sub-genre, and the cast all give it a spirited go. It keeps you entertained although it does feel someone like a missed opportunity.
