Between Hobo with a Shotgun and Treevenge, Jason Eisener could sell his films on their titles alone but, perhaps more than any other self-aware trashy B-movie director working today, Eisener makes good on his exploitation promises, creating films that are both funnier and more horrifying than anything that Robert Rodriguez and the rest are putting out. Treevenge is a Christmas classic , delivering all the over-the-top gore and over-the-top performances you could ever want in 16 minutes. P.S. Is that the music from Cannibal Holocaust?
