Despite losing its terrifying momentum in the end, the Visit is still a fairly entertaining horror film. Above average cinematography reinforces young Yosef's bewildering night. Average to above average acting gives the tragic love story realism. However, its horror entertainment fizzles out in the end as the old Yosef recounts his love story. Despite this, the Visit still tells a fairly creepy tale of love taken away tragically.
