The powerhouse cast was an advantage and the portrayals were commendable. Worthy of mention are the laudable performances of Barretto, Gomez and Sylvia Sanchez. Sadly though, the portrayal of John Lloyd Cruz as the mentally-challenged guy was quite wanting, not so convincing and what propelled the story  more was not much about the rape case filed against him by his teacher but more about family issues involving Julian (the lawyer) and Amanda.
