At first I really thought this is a drama genre type of film but am I so wrong! It was actually a comedy-musical movie, complete with breakdancing-like moves that will make you chuckle and giddy perhaps. I was particularly amused with that scene where the stepmother tells Langa's father to take the drink with a spell in it.  What ensued was a sing and dance scenario with the father making sounds like that of a barking dog. I almost fell from my seat.  This film in its truest sense, will put stepmothers in a very bad light indeed. Nonetheless, I enjoyed the music and songs although beyond the dancing and singing also lies a very serious issue pertaining family relationships in the context of an African society.  Worth checking out!
