The Last Airbender manages to fail stunningly. Fans of the cartoon will be dismayed at the portrayal of their beloved characters. While, those unfamiliar with the series will leave theaters as bewildered as they entered. This is heavily due to the disastrous plot the film presents. Apart from this, The Last Airbender does not utilize its rich multi-racial source material. The film almost becomes a Westernized version of the cartoon. For a massive failure despite of an amazing source material, The Last Airbender gets only 1 star.
