Very Smart and exciting, The Italian Job is a funrnand entertaining heist film. In this remake, professional bank robber Charlie Croker puts together a crew to get revenge against a former team member that betrayed and killed his mentor. Starring Mark Wahlberg, Charlize Theron, Jason Statham, and Edward Norton, the film has an all-star cast that delivers solid performances. And the heist is fairly well-written, with some clever twists and exciting chases. However, the produce placement is overdone and at times the film plays as a commercial for the Mini Cooper. The Italian Job is a bit formulaic at times, but overall it's a lighthearted and enjoyable film.
