The production design for this film is commendable and I was amazed by the shoes of these teen astronauts. This Soviet space sage is unique as it features children who are very smart, independent and strong-willed enough to tackle a space mission. I was just quite confused with some of the scenes that feature these kids while they were on earth still, these scenes are scattered all throughout the film and sometimes they look quite irrelevant and will distract you from the film's flow. The acting portrayals of the three teens were impressive, especially that of the girl, she was a natural and danced well. The music in this movie is quite entertaining.
