The Great Gatsby Synopsis

An adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald's Long Island-set novel, where Midwesterner Nick Carraway is lured into the lavish world of his neighbor, Jay Gatsby. Soon enough, however, Carraway will see through the cracks of Gatsby's nouveau riche existence, where obsession, madness, and tragedy await.

Good actors that adequately fit the roles. There is no greater Great Gatsby movie than this. Not the best movie in the world, but a successful remake. I think the only reason people are giving this such a low review is because of the story plot itself might seem a little boring at times, blame the Fitzgerald, not the director.
