I would give this film a five for visual flair, and three for satisfaction. Essentially the story is too rambling, the character count too high, for us to truly connect with it. I feel mean for giving it three and a half, but it was just oh so close to being a masterpiece. Just a trim here, and a narrative refocus there, and it would have been perfect. Still had a bloody good time watching it though! A tasty confection, and if you like Wes Anderson, you're in for a treat.
