A father and son experience moments of conflict because they are both too emotional. Laurent, the son, is trying to find his way after having spent his childhood and teenage years lazing about. He will understand too late the affection binding him to his father, Rodolphe. Meanwhile Rodolphe, who is surrounded by the various women in his life, has only one obsession: to find Marguerite, the love of his younger days.
